The ENCORE network provides a platform for regional politicians, youth representatives and other stakeholders to discuss environmental issues of regional significance and facilitate cooperation and exchange of experience. At ENCORE 2021, Member Regions will sign the ‘Tullamore Declaration’, a common position which will allow them to effectively exert their collective influence on the formulation of environmental policy within the European Union, as well as their national and regional contexts.
ENCORE 2021 will be moderated by Dr Tara Shine who is a world renowned environmental scientist, policy advisor and science communicator. In addition to networking sessions (23rd and 24th September) and the main political event (24th September), delegates will receive an address from Ms. Mairead McGuinness, Ireland's European Commissioner who has responsibility for Financial Stability, Financial Services and the Capital Markets Union, and a presentation from our YouthCORE delegates.
