Summary
My name is Dragana Kostica, and I am excited about the possibility of contributing my expertise to your URBACT network. I hold a PhD in Urban Planning from HafenCity University in Hamburg, a Master's in Cultural Policy & Management from Belgrade University of Arts, and a Bachelor's in Archaeology. My academic journey and entrepreneurial endeavor are paired with extensive practical experience in local, international, and transnational projects, specializing in project implementation, evaluation, and monitoring.
I bring a unique blend of skills in cultural and heritage management, creative industry strategies, urban planning, and neighborhood revitalization. I am particularly passionate about transforming former industrial neighborhoods (urban regeneration) through inclusive participation, governance modes, and tactical urbanism. I have a track record of applying arts in public spaces and urban design, enhancing urban branding, and developing strategies that empower local economies, focus on sustainable tourism, and reshape the perception of space.
I am confident that my creative approach, combined with a deep understanding of urban dynamics, would bring significant value to your team. With a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, I am eager to seamlessly integrate global trends into tailored local solutions, driving sustainable urban development in meaningful and impactful ways.
Looking forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can be of help.
