Summary
A passionate advocate of the interplay between homelessness and housing policies through social innovation, she has expertise in gender mainstreaming and human rights-based approach into public policies. She has wide experience working as urban expert in EU projects and programs, and has collaborated with the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing, European Research Centre or the European Federation of Organizations to End Homelessness or Eurocities or UCLG among others.
She has worked as a Consultant for the `Housing and Renovation Institute of Barcelona Municipality´ supporting the international social and affordable housing agenda (2016-2023) through international networks, events organization such as the European Housing Research Conference or the International Social Housing Festival. She has also worked for homelessness organizations supporting their international agenda like HogarSi Foundation through its participation at the UN Homelessness Working Group or the European Housing First Hub among others. From 2023 to 2004 she hold the position of Housing Regional Director at Navarra Regional Government on an expert basis with no political affiliation and was appointed ViceChair of the Social Affairs Committee of Housing Europe.
She has also wide experience in EU projects. Currently, she is the Lead Coordinator of the “Network of Cities for Collaborative Housing” (NETCO) and COMHOM project through Sant Joan de Deu Foundation.
She is an Advisory Board Member of the European Association for Local Democracy. And last but not least, at the end of the day, she is the proud mum of a little girl and finds great joy in live music, yoga, cycling and traveling.
