The URBACT University brings together hundreds of city enthusiasts. Meant for local stakeholders who are involved with the recently approved networks, the URBACT University is a part of the programme's offer to help beneficiaries navigate the action-planning cycle.
By providing tools, concrete examples and insights as to how cities can put the URBACT Method into practices, the stakeholders take stock of what they learn throughout the three-day event. They can then return home well equipped, and ready to set and maintain their URBACT Local Groups. Together with these groups, municipalities all over Europe will co-design and test practical solutions for their own local Integrated Action Plans.
Previous editions included the Rotterdam (2016), the Dublin (2013) and the Krakow (2011) Summer Universities. This year's University will be hosted by the Swedish city of Malmö and participants will have the opportunity to explore local initiatives, circular economy projects and much more. All in addition to rich methodological sessions. See below what's in for participants!
