  • Vilnius shares its very own gardening guide and its Ideas Garden

    It is known to all that Lithuania is one of the greenest countries in Europe and its capital city, Vilnius, one of the greenest city in Europe with 46% of the territory dedicated to green space: parks, squares and forests. Thanks to RU:RBAN and the city’s ULG (Urbact Local Group), the number of urban vegetable gardens is growing rapidly as a new phenomenon embraced by citizens and included as a sustainable tool within the city’s urban development policies.

  • ACTive NGOs partners meet virtually in a seminar in Espoo

    The partners of the project “Riga NGO House - Platform for Cooperation between Non-Governmental Organizations and Municipalities” (ACTive NGOs) met this time in a virtual environment and shared their experience during the international seminar. The fourth seminar of the project was dedicated to getting to know more about the situation in the Finnish partner city of Espoo.

    A Regionális és Várospolitikai Főigazgatóság és az Európai Bizottság Közös Kutatási Központja által november 3-25. között kerül megrendezésre a Városfejlesztési Hálózat következő webinárium sorozata, melynek címe :„A fenntartható városfejlesztés hat alapköve”. A webiárium a Közös Kutatási Központ és a Regionális Főigazgatóság által közösen publikált a Fenntartható városfejlesztési stratégiák kézikönyvén alapul.
