Maribor participates in the URGE project as the only industrial partner and with its practical insight has an important contribution to the network, which otherwise consists of city and regional administrations. By participating in the URBACT network Nigrad d.o.o. complements its other activities in other European projects, where they develop solutions for the processing of construction waste. Locally, Nigrad d.o.o. wants to contribute with its work to a deeper understanding of the circular economy and its promotion in construction and thus upgrades the intensive work of the city of Maribor in the field of the circular economy.

An important partner in the field of circular economy activities for Nigrad is also Mr Tadej Žurman, who is also an ULG member. Mr. Žurman, otherwise a lawyer, is acting as project coordinator and has successfully prepared and participated in several EU-funded circular economy projects.

A Mantova una due giorni per confrontarsi e replicare la buona pratica della città

La collaborazione tra gli attori locali impegnati nel settore della cultura e dell’arte per aumentare la sostenibilità ambientale e potenziare l’azione di contrasto al cambiamento climatico. Questo il focus al centro della due giorni a Mantova, il 7 e l’8 luglio, che ha visto sindaci, assessori e funzionari delle sette città vincitrici del bando Urbact confrontarsi sulla buona pratica di Mantova realizzata nell’ambito nel Network URBACT C-Change.

Come In! – közösségi fesztiválok, beszélgető lakosok, élhetőbb városok

A Come In! elnevezésű URBACT városhálózat képviselőivel, Ábrahám Mátéval (Újbuda Önkormányzata), Szerencsés Ritával (Kortárs Építészeti Központ) és Szigeti Ferenc Alberttel (a projekt URBACT szakértője) beszélgetünk arról, hogy a Budapest100 módszertanával hogyan lehet élhetőbb városokat kialakítani. Komoly vállalás volt 3 évvel ezelőtt a budapesti jó gyakorlat átadása európai városok számára, amelyet Újbuda Önkormányzata vállalt fel a Kortárs Építészeti Központtal karöltve. Világjárvány nehezítette a folyamatot, közösségi fesztiválok helyett multimédiás történetmesélés keretében reflektált több partner is saját épített környezetére, mégis, új meg új érdeklődők bizonyítják a kezdeményezés sikerét.
